So I’m of the opinion that sports is a highly saturated podcast space already. There is a ton of fantasy content to be consumed in various forms on the internet. Look across yahoo, espn, nfl.com and others and there is all sorts of fantasy content telling you who to start, who to draft, who the sleepers and busts are. So if I was to do a podcast in this space it would need to be different than that. Those organizations have more resources than I have available to stay on top of that.

With that said, I think there might be a more entertainment related opportunity here. Something story based with some comedy around a league that may also have some interesting fantasy tidbits. I’m thinking of a mockumentary type podcast about 8 to 10 owners running their fantasy teams and taking it way too seriously. This would be content along the lines of post game interviews of the owners on their teams performance. Weekly updates on the decisions different teams are making. Discussion about fantasy performances and perhaps roundtable trash talking sessions.

Ultimately I think this is a podcast where we would need some people willing to have fun with it and just see how it goes. This may be a bit of a long shot idea but if you enjoy playing fantasy football and you’d like to be in a league that takes it a bit too far drop some interest below.
